Summary: Ugh! I am on my last leg, its driving me mad, I will kill goats Keywords: ZyXEL,uucp,AT,call in, login Message-ID: <278dko$2bg@news.u.washington.edu> Date: 16 Sep 93 00:56:56 GMT Article-I.D.: news.278dko$2bg Organization: University of Washington Lines: 17 NNTP-Posting-Host: stein.u.washington.edu This is driving me up the wall... No matter what I do I cannot call in to my BSD 4.3 imitation and get a login: prompt. I have a ZyXEL U-1496E with 6.10 ROMS and I've tried setting: ate0,atq1,ats35=8 (DCD on/off sequence follows UNIX standard, DCD high before connect message is sent, DCD off after last DCE response is sent) I've editted /etc/ttys to look something like so: ttya "/etc/getty d2400" vt100 on secure and as far as I can tell d2400 is my best bet as far as the entry in /etc/gettytab. Someone PLEASE help before I kill goats in gleeful cackling. Micah
