You need to define a (BSD) partition that starts 1 track (for me 23k, 46 sectors) from the start of the disk. For example, my disklabel entry includes h: 22770 46 MSDOS # (Cyl. 0*- 61*) This works for me but of course the 22770/46 will be different for you. The first asterisk ^^ is because it isn't cylinder aligned, I don't understand the second. (This assumes your DOS partition comes at the start of the disk) Hopefully this explanation is a bit clearer than mud. Then mount -t msdos /dev/wd0h /dos works beautifully.
