Message-ID: <CDp6FJ.Et3@newsserver.technet.sg> Sender: news@newsserver.technet.sg Nntp-Posting-Host: solomon.technet.sg Organization: Technet, Singapore X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL0] Date: Tue, 21 Sep 1993 09:30:54 GMT Lines: 13 I have successfully installed FreeBSD (boot system) only in the HD. I wish to know how to create the 4th diskette (all those tools, like kermit, sz, rz, mcopy, mdir, mdel). Can anyone tell me? I wish to install bindarydist but found that the filenames are so long bin.tar.gz.aa ... How do I copy to a MSDOS floppy? MSDOS only allows 8+3 char. I also heard that ld_fd dose not work. So, is there any other solution. P.S. My 486 is not networked, no 386BSD is installed. Thank you in advance.
