Message-ID: <1993Sep21.091227.19597@resonex.com> Organization: Resonex Inc., Fremont CA Date: Tue, 21 Sep 1993 09:12:27 GMT Lines: 16 In yesterday's NYTimes (a friend told me this, I did not see it) there is supposedly an article discussing Novell's expected announcement (today) that they will be giving Unix to X/OPEN, or some such thing. What's going on here? What are the specifics? Since X/Open is a standards body, does this mean that System V source code is now going to be freely available? Or does the announcement mean something else entirely? Are there any voiced ramifications for the BSDI lawsuit?
