Date: 23 Sep 1993 10:17:03 GMT Organization: Lund Institute of Technology, Sweden Lines: 20 Distribution: world Message-ID: <27rt2v$ivm@nic.lth.se> NNTP-Posting-Host: baal.efd.lth.se (Patchkit 0.2.3, 66MHz 486DX2) I compiled version 1.4 of sb.c and tried it on my 16 ASP. Yes, I know I can't use 16 bits, but it's better than nothing :-). But is it impossible to tune the driver to get rid of the 'pops' which occur when the soundblaster wants more data? The driver has priority PRIBIO-5 so it is only the diskaccess who can pause it. By the way, the driver reports 'Unknown SB 4.5', but it seems to work anyway. Any information about the soundblaster-driver is appreciated. -- Joergen Haegg jh@efd.lth.se System manager @ efd Phone: international +46 46 107492 Lund Institute of Technology Snailmail: DDG, Maildelivery 7, BOX 118 Fax: +46 46 104013 S-221 00 LUND, Sweden
