Message-ID: <CE2MtK.HFu@undergrad.math.uwaterloo.ca> Sender: news@undergrad.math.uwaterloo.ca Organization: University of Waterloo Date: Tue, 28 Sep 1993 15:53:44 GMT Lines: 14 I have a Adaptec 1542C with a magnetic optical drive attached and my regular 120Meg hard drive, connected to a generic IDE controller. Is there some way i can boot linux/386bsd derivitive directly from the SCSI controller? I'd rather not reformat my IDE drive, and set up things that redirect the boot process to a different controller. Any ideas?
