Cut the trace (very carefully!), slip UNGUMMED paper, or a NONCONDUCTIVE
film over the pin (risky stuff!) but NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER put adhesive
tape on a board unless you want to ...ah-hem... gum up the works FOREVER.
