Message-ID: <RAM.93Sep29105407@xor.epi.wisc.edu> Lines: 20 Sender: news@pslu1.psl.wisc.edu (USENET News System) Reply-To: ram@epidat.epi.wisc.edu Organization: Physical Sciences Lab, UW-Madison Date: 29 Sep 1993 15:54:07 GMT I have a Netbsd-0.9 system running that's doing just fine. But it does not have PPP support (as far as I can tell) and I can't run SLIP to my machines at work...so I'm faced with the choice of waiting for Netbsd to get PPP support or converting to FreeBSD which reportedly has PPP support (and "great" com drivers I'm told). I would really rather just add some package to netbsd to make things work, but this does not seem to be an option. I suppose I would also have to rebuild all the netbsd-0.9 programs for freebsd. Any advise or suggestions? -Ram -- -------------- Ram Bhamidipaty use this ->ram@epidat.epi.wisc.edu Department of Preventive Medicine or this->ram%epidat.decnet@macc.wisc.edu University of Wisconsin, Madison Ignore the header.
