When I installed a borrowed AHA1542B in the machine, it locks up on booting. If I try to boot from fooppy, it locks up just after printing the message about mounting the root file system from fd0, and when booting from the IDE, it locks up just after printing the message about biomask 4840 ttymask 2 netmask 200 impmask 202 wdc0: extra interrupt wdc0: edtra interrupt and then nothing... It seems to be when the AHA1542 is installed. I've tried removing verious things, and it happens only when the SCSI controller is installed. I also tried on another MB, with an 801 S3 video card, ans it did exactly the same thing (Except that had only SCSI, no IDE). Does anyone else remember seeing this? Is it a bug somewhere?
