I've installed the dial-in feature on our BSD SunOs 4.3.1, and it works
ok (Practical Peripherals Modem). I tried to get TIP to work for dial
out but failed (TIP wasn't getting the resultcodes the modem was sending
back). I have Pcomm 2.0.1 and tried to install it but using the pure BSD
settings, got the following message when 'making' the binaries:

cc -g -target sun4 -c main.c
cc -g -target sun4 -c n_shell.c
cc -g -target sun4 -c p_lib.c
cc -g -target sun4 -c passthru.c
cc -g -target sun4 -c pexit.c
cc -g -target sun4 -c port.c
"port.c", line 240: O_NDELAY undefined
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `port.o'

Can anyone shed some light on what is going on here. If you have a better
program for use as a dial-out facility, please let me know!

Thank you in advance.

The mindless data of the above message does not express the opinion of
the Remote Sensing Lab or Lousisiana State University, just this mine.
