This is interesting because the linux sound driver is not GPLed, so are binaries will be singing along free to travel all over the world. Also, the sound driver supports more cards like GUS and PAS16. Additionally, the linux sound distribution includes adagio, sound utilities with lots of nefty features. I have not had the chance to build adagio but I don't expect that it will be difficult to build. More on this over the weekend... P.S.: Anyone out there knows how to hook-up a toshiba 3410 to a sound blaster, assuming that this is possible? Also, there are lots of cd-rom titles for PCs, can we read any of them? Is it possible to read CD's and store them in your disk for later playback? My idea is to have a jukebox so when I am hacking late at nite I can play any song that I like.
