Its use is not recommended. > I have been using SLIP and it works GREAT. all you need to do is the following: ifconfig sl0 your_ip slip_server_ip netmask 0xfffff00 route add default slip_server slattach -a -l -s <baud> <serial device> I've got it working quite nice, and of course the masks and ip's are specifi to your site. You MUST have the -l for slattach since it sets the device with the 'clocal' as if using the stty command (i.e. releases the device from modem control.) good luck. if you need more specifics you can e-mail me.
