Hi,
Tried this with 396bsd, ie /usr/X386/bin/xdm as last entry in /etc/rc.local,
but I don't get any window popping up, I still get the same getty login prompt!

My question is : should that line be /usr/X386/bin/xdm -nodaemon ? Also, do
we have to disable getty on console in /etc/ttytab (or the equivalent)?

Thanks in advance, and email replies please!
