I had previously installed FreeBSD on a 386DX33, which seemed to run with no problems. Last weekend, I decided to replace the 386 motherboard with a 486DX33 motherboard that was running DOS. The problem is, on bootup I get an error message which goes something like: npx0: Error reported via Exception 16 THe 386 had no maths-co., so I just received the usual emulator message while starting up. I had at one point in time run 386bsd 0.1 on the 486 and had no problems, which makes me think it has something to do with FreeBSD, rather than hardware, but I could be wrong. If anyone could throw some light on this it would be much appreciated. Sam De Francesco sdefranc@lsupoz.apana.org.au
