I cannot see the user that logged in with w. The garbage only seems to appear when I run a program that uses the termcap, i.e. vi or uemacs. When I log out using ^D, it usually returns to the normal state, but not always. Also when the garbage is on the screen, I can type some characters only lowercase, other only uppercase. >Any help would be appreciated, since these are rather annoying problems. >Marc van Kempen. >(wmbfmk@urc.tue.nl)
