MooO!

I know there was a discussion about this before, but my trip though
the archives on minnie produced nothing, so I am asking this
	question here:

I have a pretty cool ibm 3151 terminal that I would
like to use on com1. I connected it up, added the
	following line to /etc/ttys:

tty01 "/usr/libexec/getty std.19200" 3151 on secure

and added a termcap entry that works under SunOS, NeXTStep,
AIX, IRIX, and a few others (at least) to /usr/share/misc/termcap

Now, I notice two problems here:

-I am not allowed to login as root, even though I have marked
this as secure. It always refused this:

-When I try to launch vi, jove, emacs, or anything else, the
whole thing blitzes out and I have to reboot the computer
	 to get it back.

I seem to recall a discussion about this before, and I'm wondering
if there is any easy fix that doesn't require turning my com
	ports into non-standard behaving ones...
