It has tar and cpio command line interfaces, as well as a pax command line, which has more control and can read and write tar and cpio archives from the same command-line interface. It was funded by Usenix, and can be found about anywhere on the net. It's also /usr/5bin/pax on your Sun, /usr/bin/pax under SCO. It was supposed to bring peace to the tar and cpio camps, but that would cut down too much on the flaming. :) Cheers, -- -- Email info@NeoSoft.com for info on getting Internet access.
