Is it reliable enough to take in charge an internet-conected server????? You bet - we beat the heck out of our network connected development machines, and generally only reboot to install new kernels and the like. That's not to say that we never see panics, but only very rarely. My own machine would stay up for months if I would let it! where may I get it? for which hardware??? which compatibility with current PC386 or better 486? what about Pentium? Standard IDE and SCSI based PC's, don't know about Pentium (should work), How to dowload it? from where? and on QIC-tape or CD-rom???? You can download it from freebsd.cdrom.com. jtc@freefall.cdrom.com sells floppy and tape distributions, the CDROM distribution will be available shortly from Walnut Creek CDROM. Is somebody able to send me back the initial release note I saw here on Altern Usenet board? I'll mail it to you. Is anybody using it ...really?? 24 hours a day? You bet. A lot of people, 24 hours a day! And under heavy load. Jordan -- (Jordan K.
