Once the you transfer the files correctly you'll find that base?? doesn't skip to next file, and /etc/rc and /bin/sh will be installed. Get good clean versions of the base?? comp?? etc. and try again. Check them out on another Unix-Machine before trying to install. (cat base* | gunzip | tar tvf - ) Cheers -- Bankers do it with interest (penalty for early withdrawal).
