I cannot for the life of me see any possible way in: gettytab, ttys or termcap to do such a change. It always starts up in 7E1 and then the person logging in must change (once their logged in) that parameters using 'stty -parity'. stty fixes it perfectly.. but cant be used before login? can it? Thanx... -Christopher Kuperman. .-.................................................................-. \- Christopher Kuperman (aka Zork) -|- zork@yoyo.cc.monash.edu.au -/ \- The holistic systems consultant -|- Disclaimer: Try suing me! -/ \- & psychologist.
