XFree86 1.3u1. In XFree86, keyboard input is buffered until the mouse is moved. I had this problem before using pccons -- using syscons and/or NEW_SELECT haven't made a difference. I'm using the busmouse from ftp.cdrom.com:/pub/XFree86/mice/busmouse.tar.z. It is installed, as per the instructions, with non-blocking I/O, i.e. minor device number is 1. Anyone know what it's going to take to make this, or any, combination work? Thanks. -- Kaleb Keithley
