I don't know how good the BusLogic cards are but they sure beat
Adaptec for customer service.

Here's a quick run-down of the EISA products:

FEATURES BT-742A BT-747S BT-747D
Sync. Data Rate 5MB/sec 10MB/sec	10MB/sec
ASnc. Data Rate 5MB/sec 7MB/sec 7MB/sec
Bus Data X/fer rate
(burst mode) 33MB/sec	33MB/sec	33MB/sec
Termiation Single-passive	single-active	Differential
Bus Data Path 32-bit 32-bit 32-bit
Bus Addr. Range 32-bit 32-bit 32-bit
Microprocessor 80188(10Mhz/s)	80186(20Mhz/s)	80186(20Mhz/s)
Dual Floppy Yes yes, plus 2.88MB support
Rec. Max. Cable length	6ft 6ft 25ft
Connector 50-pin Centronic 50-pin SCSI-2

There is also the BT-757S and BT-757D, both are WIDE SCSI-2 adaptor.
I currently don't have any info on them.

they come with drivers for: DOS, Windows, Netware, OS/2, and SCO UNIX.
Further, I think they are register compatible with the Adaptec 1542 so
you can use the 16-bit drivers.

Hopes this help,
