Are you sure? I have an Intel motherboard that was apparently their introduction
of the '386 to the world.  It has 512k of base on the motherboard and
2 32bit slots for extended memory. So; Maybe Compaq introduced the first
'386 PC but Intel certainly had the first motherboard... 

Is this relevant though?
