In my case it seems to be related to sw. I have BSD/386 and am having the same problem. I have 5MB of RAM and 20MB of swap. It seems to lock up every 4 days. I am definately loosing swap space. I can monitor its size and watch it shrink. If I run a continuious compile, I crash in several hours. I am currently working with BSDI on the problem. I don't know if the problem is the same as */BSD, but thought it would be helpful to give you this information. -- Bruce Momjian | 830 Blythe Avenue root%candle.uucp@bts.com | Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania 19026 + If your life is a hard drive, | (215) 353-9879(w) + Christ can be your backup. | (215) 853-3000(h)
