The system is a Dell 466/M. The monitor is a Sierra 15/16 bit with a S3 801/805 chipset. Apparently, this is not one of the supported chipsets. Until this chipset is supported, I need to do something to make this machine run X. I am willing to take a hit on performance and resolution in order to get some sort of X up and running. Does anyone have a quick and dirty fix for this? I'm on a tight schedule with this project and if I can't get X up, we may have to go back to Windows with some sort of Windows X client. (ugh) thanks for any help! Eric
