Message-ID: <gbeCF6B22.JJp@netcom.com> Organization: NETCOM On-line Communication Services (408 241-9760 guest) X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL1] Date: Wed, 20 Oct 1993 02:03:37 GMT Lines: 15 My copy of Tiny 386BSD seems to boot up all the way to the "#" prompt and then freeze. Ctrl-Alt-Del does not reset it. Anyone have any ideas? I am using a Micronics 486-66 mother board with 12 MB of RAM, a Diamond Viper VGA card. I thought that I might try pulling out all unnecessary boards and trying it, but that will have to wait until this weekend. By the way, I am using an Adaptec 1542 SCSI controller which it seems to recognize. The floppy seems to work just fine on one of my computers at work, however. In fact, I got the entire 386BSD system installed successfuly there. -- Gary B. Edstrom | Engineer Internet: gbe@netcom.com | Sequoia Software CompuServe: 72677,564 | P.O.
