So by looking at the dates of the src directories I took down the dir's changed after the 16th (vm, kern, msdogfs and miscfs) and recompiled. Paniced. So with this very latest kernel I removed the misc things we did not need (NFSCLIENT, XSERVER) and recompiled and booted. Paniced. So, are 386BSD and NetBSD binary compatible? FreeBSD? Of should we leave BFD totally :) Thanks for any reply Kef -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jorgen Lundman eMail: lundman@kauri.vuw.ac.nz, lundman@rata.vuw.ac.nz. 8 Atua Street My thoughts are my own and not VUW's..
