Message-ID: <1993Oct22.212319.12552@emba.uvm.edu> Sender: news@emba.uvm.edu Organization: University of Vermont, EMBA Computer Facility Date: Fri, 22 Oct 1993 21:23:19 GMT Lines: 18 I was reading through the Daemon Book the other day, and I was struck by how much things have changed since 4.3, even just looking ahead as far as Net/2. I'd like to know if there are any plans to update the Daemon Book so that it helps people in understanding more recent systems (Net/2 and 4.4). For example, the entire virtual memory section does little to help someone trying to work with Net/2's Mach-based VM system. Messrs. Leffler, McKusick, Karels, and Quarterman, have you considered this? -GAWollman -- Garrett A.
