Greetings,

I have been reciving periodic error messages on the console of my
FreeBSD (GAMMA). I was wondering what was wrong and what do I need
to do to fix it. The error I recieve is:

/386bsd: ed0: shared memory corrupt - invalid packet length 14852

Note - The packet length is always the same.

One other question while I'm here, I am also running X windows on this
same system. Since I switched to FreeBSD the scroll bar on my Xterm doesn't
work. It shows up but when I move the mouse over to scroll the scroll handle
disappears. The right and left buttons work but I can't grab the handle to
scroll. It also happens when I am using Xman. Thanks for your help.

Jim
