Glad to hear it's working.  As an aside, did you upgrade by re-installing
or using the upgrade scripts?

The problem with the sio devices 'hanging' when trying to use them for
outbound calls is fixed by doing the below command
# stty -f /dev/sioXX clocal

This will allow outgoing use of the port.
