Those of you who fetch the sources via sup will have already seen the distribution, and the rest of you will see it _very shortly_ in the "1.0 RELEASE" distribution. I've also stuck the utilities together in /usr/ports/snd-util, along with some samples, so you can test all this out on your favorite sound card without having to go too far. I've tested this only on a generic SoundBlaster 2.0 card, though others have reported some success with the Gravis UltraSound and the ProAudio Spectrum cards.
