As the mail server will be used to teach E-mailing through Internet, there will be at least 30 users login in at one time and 60 at the worst case. I would also like to set up TELNET, FTP, NEWS and GOPHER client on the system as well. The system will be used only for mail and related services. Please give you suggestion as to which Unix(386BSD, Linux, NetBSD, etc) is best for our purpose and what sort of operatinal minimum hardware do I need to set up such system. The system has to be as trouble-free as possible since it will be looked after by a group of liberal arts undergraduates. Thank you very much. Tim Chen u129008@sparc20.ncu.edu.tw
