I have posted up some diffs for rxvt-1.45 which fix a couple of things in the utmp support (rxvt use to hang if it wasn't run setuid root, because it was unable to write a utmp entry). (I have sent these diffs to Robert, and I posted them to comp.os.386bsd.bugs yesterday).
