Reboot your machine, hit control A to get into the Adaptec setup program. Go to "Configure Host Adapter Settings" Go to "Advanced Configuration Options" There are 7 items on that screen to configure. You should have: Host Adapter BIOS enabled (Else it won't boot!) System Boot (INT19) ... enabled Extended BIOS tra .... disabled all the rest disabled (4 more items) I have no idea if this affects DOS, nor do I care. Whatever is happening should be fixed though. -- Dyane Bruce db@diana.ocunix.on.ca 29 Vanson Ave. Nepean On, K2E 6A9 So who first started the tradition of 613-225-9920 putting witty sayings in sigs anyway?
