I didn't actually put this on a SPARC (to tell the truth, I was just being perverse and ordered SPARC binaries on 9-track from the CSRG for reasons Keith will understand 8-). I loaded it onto a spare RA81 on a VAX 750 (and no, I _don't_ have 4.4 for VAX!) and looked at the size of things. I don't think 4.3BSD/VAX's "strip" would have the slightest idea how to strip a 4.4 BSD/SPARC executable, but maybe I'm being pessimistic...
