You are right about the patch -p1, I solved this problem by running the patches from /usr rather than from /usr/src, but probably patch -p2 would have worked OK, too. I didn't get any rejects, and the "make world" worked fine. My only complaint is that "make world" overwrote the stuff I had in /etc/uucp. I had backups, but it's a bit annoying. - Gene Stark --
