Date: 7 Nov 1993 12:43:10 -0600 Organization: The University of Texas - Austin Lines: 14 Message-ID: <2bjfju$7bq@sylvester.cc.utexas.edu> NNTP-Posting-Host: sylvester.cc.utexas.edu I am considering making the switch to a laptop and I was wondering if there have been any kernel mods that take advantage of or at least work with the power management features that exist on laptops these days. Also.. has anyone looked at doing the drivers for their local bus video and pen computers.. I really love the new Compaq pentop, but it's not too useful if I can't run unix and X on it..
