Date: 8 Nov 1993 09:31:24 +0100 Organization: Inst f Arbeitsphysiologie Dortmund Lines: 13 Message-ID: <2bl04s$oik@mips.arb-phys.uni-dortmund.de> NNTP-Posting-Host: mips.arb-phys.uni-dortmund.de Hi, I am trying to install NetBSD via NFS or ftp. When I try to use ifconfig after the other steps ("achtz), ifconfig fails with message ed0: device timeout (or similar) The SMC elite + card is configured 0x280 0xd0000 irq 2, as required by the docs. Why the heck doesn't it work? The card does load a kernel iamge via netboot, so there is *no* major hardware defect. wbk -- Dipl.-Math.
