Everything appears to work fine until it's supposed to copy the kernel onto the new filesystem on the hard drive. At this point it complains about not being able to mount wd0a and the copy fails. Here's the specifics of my system: - Gateway 2000 33mhz 386, no 387 - Seagate 3840<?> 300 meg ESDI drive - UltraStor 12F<?> ESDI crontroller with space sector/trk on and translated geometry on. - One DOS partition. The disk geometry for DOS and FreeBSD match. - FreeBSD-1.0-RELEASE I used all the default answers to questions asked in the installation up to this point. Any ideas? Thanks! -Rick Odeen -- "MINIX costs $169, but the license allows | Rick Odeen making two backup copies, so the effective | richard.odeen@umn.edu price can be under $60." | rodeen@buddha.ncc.umn.edu - ast@cs.vu.nl (Andy Tanenbaum) |
