Here is what I do: I grabbed the BSDI 'port' of rzsz and compiled it sans problem. (this was obtained from ftp.uu.net in vendor/bsdi something) I use cu at home. (tip flakes out on me these days for some reason) I use the following to send from a (really damn lousy) Sun4 to my machine at home: sun# sz -bw 2048 {files]+ ~^Z mypc# rz < /dev/com0 > /dev/com0 To send files from my machine to the other machine: sun# rz ~^Z mypc# sz -bw 2048 {files}+ < /dev/com0 > /dev/com0 The sz's aren't as zippy as the rz's on my machine, but that might very well be because Micronics is now shipping 8250s on their 486/66 Motherboads (GRRRRRRRR!) >in my terminal session on the remote Sun, but no further progress is made. >I can't interrupt the sz process with CTRL-C; I have to kill it from another >shell. I can kill the rz's pretty easily with these, but not with C-C's. >I've talked with someone who is having the exact same problem between a >two Suns. Anybody else experienced this problem? Know of a workaround? I don't know of anybody who has managed to get these working flawlessly. This stuff is notoriously bad. Toodlepip!
