What? Where did you even mention what the conflict of interest was? Are you saying that his choosing not to post your articles is a conflict of interest? What interest? Does he have a 'competing' article that he was using his 'powers' as moderator to post instead of yours? Or are you saying that because he didn't want to post the crap that you sent him, that he has a conflict of interest? I feel that based on the quality/content of the postings I have seen from you, that Chris' desire to carefully scrutinize your submissions, is *IN THE INTEREST* of general comp.os.386bsd.announce readers. Announce is for announcements, not posturing. Please clarify the conflict of interest issue before posting again. A conflict of interest is when someone uses his 'power' to give himself an advantage of some sort. I.E. if someone wants to post an announcement for "NTBSD a version of *BSD for the NT Posix subsystem" and, assuming the announcement was clear/concise and well written, Chris refuses to post it because he doesn't want it competing with NetBSD. This could be construed as a conflict of interest. (and no, Chris wouldn't do that...) -Andrew -- #!/bin/sh - ============================================== echo "Andrew Gillham gillham@andrews.edu" echo "Winix Hacker usrvnp86@ibmmail.com" #=========================================================
