I'm currently running Linux on an EISA system with an Adaptec 1742 card, and was wondering how support for this card in NetBSD is. Would anyone know if this card is better supported by NetBSD or Linux? Under which OS would filesystem access be faster with this card? In general, how do the two filesystems (Linux ext2fs and FFS) compare? Thanks, Craig.
