Yes, USL is challenging BSDI's claim. (BSDI's claim, of course, is just a reiteration of the claim UC Berkeley made in making the Net 2 code available.) But what I meant is that USL has not (as far as I know) made any attempt to stop the distribution of Net 2. Right now, this very instant, you can reach out and touch any of several ftp sites to get a copy of Net 2. It's pretty weird--that they're not complaining about the source of the unre- stricted distribution (CSRG) but they complain about someone else (BSDI) redistributing it.
