I've been a 386BSD user, Linux user, and will probably try NETBSD shortly, and rely upon the technical content of the newsgroups for technical assistance. I actually don't mind if you use some network bandwidth to engage in these arguments, but at least have the courtesy to keep it in newsgroups created to deal with administrative issues. It seems that half of the messages in the past few days have been non-technical.
