Date: 12 Nov 1993 12:42:57 GMT Organization: Christian Michelsen Research a/s Lines: 16 Distribution: world Message-ID: <2c00ch$qpu@alf.uib.no> NNTP-Posting-Host: artemis.cmr.no From what I've seen there's still no reliable high-speed serial driver for netbsd. As I'm still on 0.8 I'll probably upgrade some time soon, but if there's no hope of a fast serial driver in the near future I'll rather go with FreeBSD. Can anyone tell me if there is a new driver for netbsd in the wings ( or already released) ? Am I right to assume that FreeBSD will do slip/PPP at 38400? (How about faster than 38400?) thanks -tom -- Tom Lislegaard, System Manager, Chr. Michelsen Research a/s, Bergen, Norway
