Adaptec has long been a bizarre company. They originally didn't offer ANY technical support at all, so many vendors were boycotting their products. Then they did offer some, and many people felt that it was still kinda crappy. Now they're pulling this weird crap with their (supposedly alarmingly buggy) new controllers... It's enough to make me think that the 34F is the net controller to get. TOodlepiP!
