Note that there wasn't even one NetBSD member on the "task force"
(a mailing list managed by Julian, if I remember.)


I had opinions, but never expressed them (except to say that NetBSD
supports the excellent work Hellmuth has done with pcvt, which will
very soon have the same X ioctl()'s that syscons has.)


You must be talking about someone else's ego here, not Chris's or
Charles, or mine.
