Come on, let us give your mind a ride." : -- Boston, "Feelin' Satisfied" I'm really getting tired of the "[fillin your choice]BSD is better then [!fillin your choice]BSD". I've tried *BOTH* os'es, and (for MY PERSONAL preference) find FreeBSD better. This does NOT say that FreeBSD is better than NetBSD or vice versa! It meerly says that FOR MY USES I find FreeBSD better. BUT, if the current flames continue I may be forced to upgrade my sun to Solaris 2.3 and buy Solaris for X86 for home (just to put the flame(s) behind). I'm not ready to do that yet, but the flame wars are makeing it more and more viable (GOD, I can't believe I'm actually thinking of going to SVR4 (shudder))). I appreciate the work done by 1) the Jolitzes, 2) the NetBSD group AND 3) the FreeBSD group. It has allowed me to have ALMOST the same O/S at home as at work (the work of the XFree86 group has been OUTSTANDING and is GREATLY Appreciated, no matter WHAT the O/S it runs on!!!!!). -- ======================================================================= Stephen F.
