This site will provide users with the ability to have mass testing of there software before hacing it put on freebsd.cdrom.com. The machine: netport.neosoft.com The server goes down on Saturday Morning at 1:00am CST for one hour. Here is a basic layout of the server /incoming an untested temporary collection a software. /pub/FreeBSD/beta-ports New ports that have barely been tested. More work is need. /pub/FreeBSD/ports Ports ready to go off to freebsd.cdcom.com but are not yet in package format. To request that ports be put under the FreeBSD/ tree a message must be sent to FreeBSD-ports-request@netport.neosoft.com. Include a short description and where and where the original sources came from.
