Message-ID: <1993Nov20.190753.6585@mcshub.dcss.mcmaster.ca> Sender: usenet@mcshub.dcss.mcmaster.ca Nntp-Posting-Host: flex1.eng.mcmaster.ca Reply-To: todd@flex.eng.mcmaster.ca Organization: McMaster University References: <hastyCGpHwq.6yM@netcom.com> Date: Sat, 20 Nov 1993 19:07:53 GMT Lines: 14 I finally got xcdplayer working under FreeBSD-1.0R with an Adaptec 1542C and a Toshiba 3401. I have a 386BSD port of xcdplayer which was failing in the initial call to cdrom_getcurtrack(), called from cdrom_open(), called from main(). I ignored the cdrom_getcurtrack() call and set the current track to 1 and it worked. I'm not sure if subsequent calls to cdrom_getcurtrack() work as expected though. --- Todd Pfaff \ Internet: todd@flex.eng.mcmaster.ca Dept. of Mechanical Engineering \ Voice: (905) 525-9140 x22902 McMaster University \ FAX: (905) 572-7944 Hamilton, Ontario, CANADA L8S 4L7 \
